In summer and autumn, install a light above the turtle pond to attract insects during the evening and early morning. This helps provide additional food sources and keeps the turtles active. 6. Prepare the hatching site properly. Mix the mud and sand evenly on the ground, ensuring it is dry enough to prevent the eggs from losing moisture and affecting the hatching rate.
