(I) Characteristics Green broccoli is the main ball-type hybrid, and its growth potential is particularly strong and its heat resistance is strong. Planting at temperatures above 30°C can still harvest compact flower bulbs. In the summer and autumn, the whole growth period is 80 days. The plant height is 65 cm and the development degree is about 55 cm. It is suitable for dense planting. The number of outer leaves is 16-17 pieces. The leaves are light green in colour with silty leaves and lanceolate leaves. The main ball is nearly hemispherical, with a diameter of about 13 centimeters and a tight ball with a weight of 280 grams. The buds are coarse and neat, the balls are green, suitable for cultivation in the summer and autumn, and exported fresh. Flower bulbs grow faster and colonize until harvesting for about 50 days. More resistant to root rot, downy mildew.
(b) Cultivation points
1. Broadcasting whole seedlings and cultivating young seedlings Green broccoli is mainly cultivated in the Yangtze River basin in summer and autumn, and generally sowed in mid-late July. At this time, it is at high temperatures and rain, the seedlings are extremely prolonged, and there are many insect pests, and all seedlings are cultivated. Strong seedlings are the key to ensuring successful cultivation.
(1)Nutrition block nursery: Select the plots with loose soil and the former to be non-cruciferous crops for the seedbed, 15 acres of field seedbed with about 400 square meters, apply 500 kg of decomposed organic fertilizer before planting Mix the phoxim with the soil, build a 1.2-meter-wide, 20-cm-high file after making fine, and after making water, make a nutrient block with a diameter of 6-8 cm, and then apply it to the bottom water. (3) Prevention of pests and diseases: Diseases should be prevented mainly. 4. When harvesting and maintaining the flowers, the ball should be harvested in batches in time, and one harvest should be matured. Generally, harvesting ends before and after 9am. When packing, it must be discharged neatly and cannot be squeezed. Avoid collecting too long after harvest to prevent flower yellowing and water loss. After the harvest, the product is slightly trimmed, immediately pre-cooled (soaked in cold water at 0°C), stored in a low-temperature, high-humidity environment at 0°C and relative humidity of 95%-100%, and it can be stored for 8-10 days.
