Root rot, sclerotinia, and gray spot disease are three major diseases of soybean, and measures should be taken to prevent and control it in time.

Root rot soybeans can develop throughout the growing period. At the beginning of the disease, dark brown lesions appeared at the base of the stem and diffused upwards to the lower lateral branches. The medullary stems became brown, and the base of the petioles contracted and the leaves drooped. Chemical control can be used seed weight 0.3% to 0.40% of 58% thiram MnZn or 72% Kelu seed dressing.

Sclerotinia begins in late July. In the early stages of the disease, brown lesions appeared on the stalks. Afterwards, white floc and white granules appeared on the lesions, and finally the white particles turned black. The longitudinal stalk shows black sclerotia. The chemical control can be sprayed with 50% SulfoMax 1000 times, or 40% Sclerot® Net 1000 times, or 50% Thiophanate 500 times.

Gray spot disease began in the middle and early June, and entered the onset of disease in mid-July. From July to August, the incidence was heavy due to high temperature and rainy weather. The main damage to the leaves is when the leaves are full of lesions and the leaves fall off prematurely, resulting in severe reductions in production. In addition to pre-planting seedlings with a weight of 0.3% of 70% dikecan or 50% dimethoate, they should also be sprayed with 40% carbendazim 100 g and 30 kg water per acre in soybean flowering.
