Storage of corn seeds

The quality of corn seed storage has a great impact on production. If it is not stored well, it will cause great losses to production. What should you pay attention to during the storage process?
A bogey seed moisture content is too high: corn seed moisture content is too high, once frozen, the embryo will be destroyed, so that its viability and germination rate decreased. Therefore, we should do everything possible to find ways to reduce the moisture content of corn seeds to more than 15%, that is, to reach the safety level below.
Second, the bogey seeds have insufficient clarity: if they are doped with impurities such as pods, broken grains, and dust, the porosity of the heap will be reduced, which will hinder the heat loss caused by the respiration, thus causing the bacteria and the storage of grains. There is an opportunity for pests to cause bad species. To this end, the stored corn must be carefully screened to remove impurities and ensure clarity.
Three bogey seeds moisture: corn seeds because of its loose tissue, embryo large, it is easy to absorb water swelling, severe moldy rotten. Therefore, in order to avoid its bad species, corn must be placed in a dry and stable temperature room.
4. The bogey seeds are contaminated: It is forbidden to put the corn seed with chemical fertilizers, pesticides, etc., to prevent the bad seeds from being polluted.
Five bogey mice damage: In recent years, mice have become increasingly paralyzed, so we must find ways to eliminate rats, in order to avoid significant losses to production. In addition, the temperature, humidity, and seed germination rate in the seed heap should also be inspected frequently. Once problems are found, timely solutions should be made to avoid irreparable damage to the corn production due to improper storage of the corn seed.
