The method of cutting is commonly used for cutting seedlings of peppermint. This method is simple and easy to implement, with high survival rate, rapid propagation, and stable seedling traits.
(a) Site preparation: Cinnamon spearmint soil has a wide adaptability. Usually fertile sandy loam soil with high topography, sufficient water supply and convenient drainage and irrigation is selected as the seedbed. The seedbed should be deep-turned into the soil, and at the same time, about 10 kilograms of NPK fertilizer should be applied per acre. Basically no need to fertilize during growth.
(2) Take seedlings: Cutting branches are taken from the upper part of adult plants with a plant height of about 20 cm and grow vigorously to survive. The length is about 10 cm, and 4 leaves are retained. The cut branches were bundled into small bundles, and the roots were soaked in pots containing the rooting powder solution for about 10 minutes, and they were taken out and inserted into the seedbed.

(D) Transplanting: Plants can be transplanted when the height reaches 15 cm. First of all, the pots are filled with nutritious soil. The nutrient soil can be made of 60% of loess sand and 40% of turf-soil. Alternatively, straws that have been crushed after fermentation can be used instead of turfgrass. Then, the soiled seedlings were planted in flower pots. Pots with a diameter of 24 cm and a height of 15 cm are generally planted with 3 to 5 plants per pot, and a larger one can be appropriately increased by 1 to 2 plants.
